Depending on what type of song and character you are after, there are different types of reverbs that you should use. Read Time: 15 mins Reverb is invaluable when mixing. Dry / Wet sliders: Controls the strength of the dry (reverb-less) signal and the wet (reverb-full) signal. Distance: Alters the perceived distance from the original signal. Decay Freeze button: Freezes the reverb signal to loop infinitely with the chosen space. I find that many have no peer soundwise - Ebony, Lemon (delay), Taupe (tape machines), Green (GML EQ), Cream (ancient EMI hardware), Sand (SSL), Pink (API), White (Pultec). Decay: Determines the time taken for the reverb to become inaudible. They do offer trials of all their plugins. ![]() I recommend you don't track with Acustica plugins engaged, your latency will suffer, unless you are using the zero latency versions, which are even more CPU intensive.
